Sunglasses designed for someone who moves through the world knowing they are seen.
The HAWI YEMA Floating Trinity Sunglasses carry the geometry of Ethiopian spirituality into everyday wear — triangular lenses that honor the Holy Trinity, a rectangular frame that holds them like a crown, and gold accent details that catch the light the way meaning catches the eye. The floating lens effect is not a design trend. It is a design intention.
The Story Behind the Stitch
Every shape here is deliberate.
The triangle is the Holy Trinity — a sacred symbol woven into Ethiopian Christianity for over sixteen centuries. It appears in the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, in the illuminated manuscripts of the monasteries, in the gold crosses worn by pilgrims on the roads of Addis. YEMA lets you wear it on your face.
The rectangular frame holds the lens without touching it — creating the floating effect that makes these sunglasses unmistakable. Wholeness containing the sacred. Structure honoring the spiritual. The bridge and side profile carry gold accents that tie back to the heritage gold running through YEMA's visual language — not decoration, but lineage.
Addis Black honors Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital, whose name means "new flower" in Amharic. A timeless shade that carries the depth of where YEMA comes from.
These are not sunglasses for blending in.

Claim What's Yours
A superstar is not made in a stadium. A superstar is made in the way they carry themselves through ordinary moments. These sunglasses were designed for that person — the one who understands that presence is not performed. It is worn.
